As we all know, we have become an urbanized society with a younger generation living behind computer screens and mobile devices.
TecVana is a social media platform for the outdoors designed to get younger people involve in outdoor activities. It consists of an Interactive Digital Gateway (IDG) for the consumers and a Digital Channel to Market (DC2M) for the outdoor community.
The IDG is a place where people can visit and learn about the outdoors, share experiences, play real-life games, get involved with promotions and contests, engage with virtual malls and reality TV, plan and bundle adventures that appeal to their personal needs, preferences and lifestyle and become ambassadors to get other people involved in the outdoors. Motivation to go from their virtual world into a real outdoor experience is driven by real-life gaming, game-driven marketing and the experience of the TecVana ambassadors.
The DC2M provides the struggling outdoor industry a conduit to reach the new consumer to market their brands, tap into hot social networks, access social networking services, engage and collaborate with the customer, a chance to reinvent their products or services to align with the modern demographics and exclusive product placement in games, virtual retail stores or on mobile devices.
The TecVana social media platform is unique in that it utilizes the process of “engagement marketing” and mobile to facilitate and encourage the co-creation of a new generation of outdoor enthusiasts allowing the customer to drive the value creation process from beginning to end. The result will be a growth in the outdoor industry, tourism and the rural economy.
