TecVana aligned with the Stratford Report 2011

The Stratford Report 2011 is designed to help Canadians understand what the CANADA 3.0 conference means when it talks about Canada being a Digital Nation by 2017. The report states that to be successful the challenge in the new economy is to model new forms of “cross-sector” collaboration and citizen engagement. However the report also states that vision without action is hallucination!

 It is clear upon reviewing the report that TecVana offers a unique solution to engaging Canadians and that our program is very much aligned with the recommendations and guiding principles for Canada 2017.  In fact for Canada 3.0 to achieve its stated objectives, TecVana just might be the catalyst in driving the country to a fully connected society since our goal is to connect the city to the county and the country to the city by engaging more young people into the outdoors.

The Stratford Report 2011 also states that new ideas should be encouraged and brought forward for discussing and decision makers in all sectors need to be engaged in the conversation.  The report talks about how the mobile digital media is revolutionizing communications, the importance of transformation technologies, the need for industry to embrace change and most important of all, the need for the release of Canada’s creative energy i.e. TecVana.

We feel that it is important to get Canada 3.0 behind TecVana’s innovative approach to engaging Canadians.  After all, we are integrating social media networking, leveraging the strengths of Information Communication Technology (ICT) and developing new software application and network processes to reach and engage the hi-tech generation. This breakthrough approach also will encourage, enable and empower the “youth demographics” living behind computer screens and mobile devices to not only get outdoors but empower them to co-create new “cool outdoor adventures” that appeal to their lifestyle; adventures that will motivate them to go from their virtual world into a real-life experience.  It is a great opportunity to lead by example!
